Sales of small-format stores increase by 7.2% y/y in VIII – PIH, CMR
Retail sales of small-format stores increased by 7.2 percent y/y and by 2.3 percent m/m in August 2019, according to the estimates of the Polish Chamber of Commerce (PIH) and CMR research company. According to CMR data, in August 2019, the average value of transactions in small-format stores was PLN 15.01, by 1.2 percent higher than in July.
Small-format stores up to 300 sqm include groceries and specialized alcohol stores.
