Colliers International invites you to another virtual exhibition at the Colliers Office Gallery. This time, Aleksandra Mazurkiewicz, a sculptor and medalist who in her work surprises with the choice of unusual means of expression will present her works in the online gallery. Aleksandra Mazurkiewicz is the first artist at the Colliers Office Gallery to specialize in sculpture and medallic art.

“Until now, when selecting the works of young artists from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts for our gallery, we focused mainly on painting, graphics and photography. This was mainly due to the possibility of presenting the works in our office. Creating an online version of Colliers Office Gallery has opened up new opportunities for us and allowed us to reach for works from various fields of art,” Katarzyna Dorocińska, director of the Communication and Marketing Department at Colliers International, initiator of Colliers Office Gallery, said.

The work of Aleksandra Mazurkiewicz surprises with the choice of means of expression. Her moving, original works are made with the use of linen, string, hay, leaves, tow, and also bronze.

“I love the material experiment! Its very choice significantly influences the character of a work of art. The specific matter can inspire me to such an extent that I often decide to use it first, and then about the subject of my work,” the artist said.
