Selena Group plans to build plaster and adhesive mortar plant in Kazakhstan
Selena Group has begun construction of a new plant producing plasters and adhesive mortars in Kazakhstan, marking its second manufacturing facility in the country after the dry-mix mortar factory in Astana. The investment, estimated at around €5 million, will be located in southern Kazakhstan and is designed to expand the group’s production capacity and support the manufacture of advanced, high-quality construction chemicals.
According to CEO Sławomir Majchrowski, the project responds to rising demand for dry construction mixes and reflects Selena’s long-term commitment to Kazakhstan, whose economy remains on a growth path and offers strong logistical advantages. The company views the country as a strategic hub for regional expansion, including neighboring Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, with plans to potentially add further production lines in the future.
