Space tourism expected to develop in the next 50 years

A bold era of space development will start in the next 50 years thanks to falling costs, new technologies, Chinese and Indian ambitions, The Economist said. It is very likely to involve tourism for the rich and better communications networks for all. In the long term, the space industry may even swith to the mass transportation. Another direction for space developmeny is mineral extraction.

"Space will become ever more like an extension of Earth—an arena for firms and private individuals, not just governments," the magazine wrote. However, to achieve this a system of laws to govern the space is needed.
