Logicor announced the start of construction of a strategic logistics facility for pet food manufacturer Royal Canin. The new investment will help the company expand its operations in Europe.

The project includes the purchase of an independent plot of land and the construction of a modern Class A warehouse that will be adjacent to Royal Canin's existing facility near Krakow, Poland. This is a strategic development step for the Royal Canin Niepołomice factory, which currently serves 24 European and Asian markets.

The 26,500 sqm facility will provide Royal Canin with new flexible space to support its long-term growth. The warehouse will incorporate sustainable solutions such as solar panels for domestic water heating, electric vehicle charging stations, smart meter systems and grey water installations.

"With the ever-increasing demand for Royal Canin products and our growing need for warehouse space in Poland, we will soon reach our limit at our current location near Krakow. With this investment we will secure space for the future growth of our business, room for new opportunities, better efficiency and lower CO2 emissions," Agnieszka Sadowska, CNE Supply Chain Director at Royal Canin Polska, said.
