Study: nearly half of Poles withdrew cash using cashback service

Nearly half of the respondents used the cashback service to withdraw cash from store registers, while three-quarters were aware of this option, according to a study by the Polish Cashless Foundation. The service is most popular among individuals aged 25-34, as stated in Tuesday's report.
Cashback allows customers to withdraw cash at checkout when paying by card for purchases. To use the service, customers need to buy any product and inform the cashier before making the card payment. Users can withdraw any amount up to 1000 PLN in cash per transaction, as explained in the Tuesday-published report detailing the study.
The study highlights that nearly half of those surveyed have used the service, with three-quarters aware of it. It also notes that 60% of users are aged 25-34.
