Teachers' salaries growth to be covered by rise in subsidies - Machałek
The raise in teachers' wages will be covered by the increase in subsidies, which will result from budget transfers, the deputy head of the Ministry of National Defense Marzena Machałek said on Wednesday. She added that the cost of the changes would amount to over PLN 1 billion
On Thursday, the Sejm hosted a second reading of the draft amendment to the Teacher's Charter Act, introducing a salary increase for teachers from September 1.
