The 11th Smart City Forum

The 11th Smart City Forum will take place on March 16 and 17, 2020 at The Westin Warsaw Hotel.

The upcoming event will cover issues that will allow the exchange of opinions and experiences between representatives of local governments, academia, and business representatives.

We would like to discuss the implementation of solutions used in cities around the world with a group of experts. The spring edition will create an opportunity to debate on challenges facing ideas such as the European vision of cities of the future, improvement of the quality of life, economic competitiveness, sustainable development, and many others. During the 11th edition of the Smart City Forum, issues related to the most effective methods of investment implementation and obtaining funds for the implementation of innovative ideas will appear. A session devoted to good practices will allow speakers to present innovative implementations using use cases. There will also be issues related to digital transformations in cities.

The first day of the event will end with the Smart City Grand Gala, at which awards will be presented to the winners of the Smart City Competition. The competition aims to popularise personalities and projects that have significantly contributed to the promotion of solutions for the construction of smart cities in Poland, and cities that implement this idea. Both local administration and business representatives will be awarded. Everyone contributes to the implementation of innovative solutions increasing the competitiveness of Polish cities and the economy.

During the second day, there will be well-known and appreciated by regular participants ROUNDTABLES SESSION, which allows in-depth discussion on current topics related to the development of smart cities. The formula introduces dynamism and the possibility of integration and networking between participants. A new element of the agenda this season will be 2 thematic paths. The “Human Smart City” path will focus on issues such as senior policy and the resident as a user of public space, and the subject of the “Eco and Investments” path will answer questions related to green cities, mobility, and ecology.

During the two days of the congress, experts and specialists related to the subject of the smart city will present the most important topics and will share examples of practical solutions in Poland and around the world. The Smart City Forum is an event addressed to all people interested in the subject of smart cities in Poland and around the world.

Congress is implemented as part of the activities of MMC Poland organizing prestigious congresses, conferences, workshops and business training dedicated to specialists, managerial staff and company boards.
