At the end of the second quarter of 2019, there were 458,830 mortgage loans in Swiss francs, which is 23,320 less y/y, according to the data provided by the Credit Reference Agency (BIK).
The value of the Swiss franc loans portfolio at the end of June amounted to PLN 102.8 billion, and despite the weakening of the Polish zloty exchange rate against the Swiss franc, its value decreased during a year by PLN 7.91 billion.
According to BIK, at the end of June 2019, only 1.22 percent of active Swiss franc loans are 90 days past due. The percentage of mortgage loans in PLN, on the other hand, is higher and amounts to 1.44 percent.
