This is without doubt one of the most significant cultural events of the coming year. As part of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of its world premiere, the legendary musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber — “THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA” — is coming to Poland. In the summer of 2026, audiences will have a unique opportunity to experience this epic production for the very first time in its original English-language version as well in an arena setting.
Since its premiere on London’s West End in 1986, “The Phantom of the Opera” has become synonymous with theatrical genius. Seen by more than 160 million people in 205 cities worldwide, it has won over 70 prestigious awards, including seven Tony Awards and four Olivier Awards.
A Timeless Story in a Contemporary Form
Inspired by Gaston Leroux’s classic novel, the musical tells the story of the fatal fascination and unfulfilled love of the mysterious Phantom for the young soprano Christine Daaé. It is a tale of passion, talent, and darkness — a story that has lost none of its relevance over the decades and continues to move new generations of audiences.
