June 2019, another 1,643rd victim was identified. Until now, however, as much as 40 percent of the remains remain nameless. That
Information was then provided by the US criminal office, which deals with confirming and conducting DNA tests on the remains found at the
site of the former World Trade Center from 2001 to 2013. However, the researchers did not reveal the person's identity.
