Charges of mismanagement were presented by the Katowice prosecutor’s office to two former board members of the Katowicki Holding Węglowy (KHW). One of the defendants, Artur T., is currently the president of the Marine Repair Shipyard Gryfia in Szczecin.
The case is about concluding contracts for drawing up legal opinions for KHW for the total amount of PLN 1.1 million. According to investigators, they had no economic justification.
Both men were arrested on Thursday. They are facing 5 to 10 years jail time.
