Ukraine wants to share defense technologies with Poland
Ukraine is ready to share defense technologies developed during the war with Poland, President Volodymyr Zelensky said at a joint press conference with Prime Minister Donald Tusk on September 18. He highlighted opportunities for joint security and energy projects and stressed the importance of addressing sensitive bilateral issues openly. Zelensky also announced that two Ukrainian companies had successfully tested fast interceptor drones in combat, shooting down Russian jet-powered Shahed drones. Ukraine plans further testing and aims to accelerate mass production, with financing under discussion with the European Commission.
The interceptors are being developed as an affordable response to faster Russian drones threatening critical infrastructure.
