VP of Impact Clean Power Tech: Europe is suffering consequences of China’s rise
Bartlomiej Kras, vice president of Impact Clean Power Technology, says China’s growing dominance is the biggest threat to European industry, more serious than labor or energy costs. He argues Europe outsourced technology and production for years and failed to react as China advanced, now offering cheaper and often more advanced products in sectors like automotive, electronics, and batteries.
He believes Poland needs a clear industrial strategy focused on selected key sectors, with stronger support for innovation and scaling. Rising labor costs and low automation weaken competitiveness.
Although his company attracts skilled workers, Kras says Polish firms remain cautious, expand too slowly, and lack consistent long term state support needed to compete globally.
