The Polish capital city was ranked 19th among the richest regions of the EU with GDP per capita of 152 percent of the EU average. Among the poorest areas however, there are as many as three Polish voivodeships: Lubelskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie and Podkarpackie. The poorest area in the EU is North-West Bulgaria, where GDP per capita is 31 percent of the average of all Member States. The most prosperous place in the entire EU is London. Inhabitants of internal London (western part) in EU statistics are more than six times richer (626 percent) than the average in the whole EU.
