Anna Jarzębowska to develop ESG strategies for CBRE clients

The need to implement a sustainable development strategy is growing rapidly in the real estate industry. To cope with this, Anna Jarzębowska joined CBRE and took the position of ESG Program Manager. Together with a team of ESG specialists from the Property Management team, she will be responsible for the implementation of ESG projects and reports for the company's clients and the development of a sustainable development strategy within the organization.
"We are observing a rapid increase in interest in ESG aspects and the implementation of the sustainable development strategy among real estate investors and end-users of facilities. That is why we have been developing related services both inside the company and for our clients for a long time. The data shows that nearly 30 percent of investors are ready to lower its valuation or withdraw from investment if the risks associated with sustainable development are too high, a value that will certainly grow in the coming years ESG is not only a series of commitments by the company in the field of ecology, social responsibility and corporate governance, but also caring for the well-being of employees and ensuring optimal ergonomics at work. More and more companies are building their operating strategies based on these standards, and the company's headquarters is of great importance in this process," Daniel Bienias, CBRE managing director, said.
Anna Jarzębowska has been involved in corporate social responsibility and the implementation of CSR projects for over 6 years. So far, the main area of its activity has been the trade industry. Before joining CBRE, she worked at Żabka Polska, where she was responsible, inter alia, for developing a CSR strategy, co-creating an ESG strategy, and developing a Social Involvement Strategy.
