Apartment sales in the biggest cities rise in July

In July, developers in the seven largest cities sold apartments with a total area of 2.400 square meters, which is 12% more compared to June, data from real estate portal Rynekpierwotny.pl showed. Still, the result is 31% lower compared to July a year ago.
The highest increase in sales (41%) was recorded in Gdańsk, where in May, sales of new apartments fell by 40%, and in June by another 29%. The situation was similar in Łódź, Kraków, and Warsaw, where after two months of sales drops, July showed increases of 32%, 22%, and 11% respectively.
In July, in the seven largest cities, developers launched for sale a total of approx. 3,000 new apartments, which is 23% less than in June. A decrease in the average price per square meter was recorded only in Katowice (by 1%). In Wrocław, prices increased by 7%, and in other cities on average by 1% compared to June.
