Budimex CEO to head Ferrovial’s European operations
Dariusz Blocher, the CEO of Warsaw Stock Exchange-listed Budimex, one of the biggest construction groups in Poland, has been appointed as the Europe director of Spanish construction group Ferrovial, the strategic investor in the company. Apart from continuing to perform his duties as the head of Budimex, he will now also be responsible for Ferrovial’s operations in the British, Irish and Slovak markets. Blocher has been working for Budimex since 2002 and has been the company’s CEO for the last ten years.
