CBRE: over 1 million sqm of office space at CEE in 2019
For CBRE, 2019 was a record year. In the CEE region, the total area of rented offices exceeded one million. In Poland, CBRE advised clients on the lease of over 413,000 sqm of office space, of which 228,000 sqm in Warsaw and 185,000 sqm in regional cities.
“The demand for modern office space not only in Poland but throughout Central and Eastern Europe is high. This is clearly seen in the results we recorded in 2019,” Łukasz Kałędkiewicz, Head of the Office Sector at CBRE, said.
In 2019, lease transactions were concluded in the entire CEE region for a total of 4 million sqm of office space, of which CBRE has leased over 1 million sqm. The three largest markets in terms of office space rental in CBRE are Warsaw (228,000 sqm), Budapest (130,000 sqm) and Prague (118,000 sqm). These three cities are responsible for almost half of all lease agreements concluded by CBRE in 2019.
