Software development company Codeaddict has signed a letter of intent with Softie to start talks aimed at establishing close cooperation. Codeaddict intends to acquire Softie, the company said. Softie is an entity specializing in training and recruitment in the IT industry, including the gaming segment.
"We decided that with the current pace of development, we cannot wait for ready-made solutions and we must ensure a constant supply of specialists, both for ourselves and for other companies operating in gamedev. The cost of such training is about PLN 7,000. We will give candidates the opportunity to completely change their business. Thanks to the fact that we know this industry thoroughly, we can start our operations on a larger scale from the very beginning. An additional advantage is a presence in the PlayWay Group, which gives us easy access to at least several dozen or even several hundred development teams. We plan to train up to a thousand people annually," Sebastian Goliński, the president of Codeaddict, said.
In the future, Codeaddict announces further group strengthening through acquisitions of companies or teams.
