Leading commercial real estate advisory firm, Colliers International, has been appointed as an exclusive leasing agent for the Senator office building located in Warsaw and owned by an open-ended real estate fund managed by Union Investment Real Estate. “The Senator is a unique project on Warsaw’s office map. It literally has a piece of Polish history embedded within its walls and perfectly combines tradition with modern solutions. We are delighted to represent it as an exclusive advisor,” Izabela Kapil, director and head of Landlord Representation, Office Agency, Colliers International, said.
The Senator is an A-class office building located at 12 Bielańska Street in Warsaw. It offers approximately 25,000 sqm of office space. Among its tenants are such companies as PKN Orlen and Discovery Polska. The building was constructed in 2012 in a spot historically connected to Polish key financial intuitions. In the 17th century, it was the location of the Polish Mint, during the time of the Partitions of Poland it became the headquarters of the State Bank, and in the 1920s – the Bank of Poland. The historic elements of walls and foundations of the old Bank building, damaged during WWII and later demolished, are preserved inside of the Senator’s lobby.
