Donnersmarck Palace in Silesia being rebuilt
Work on restoring the Donnersmarck Palace in Siemianowice Śląskie is moving ahead quickly. Arche Group bought the historic complex in 2024 for PLN 13.84 mln and is carrying out one of the region’s largest and most demanding conservation projects. By May 2026, key structural work had been completed, including reconstruction of both gate towers and enclosure of the palace’s main wings.
The complex will combine preserved historic fabric with modern architecture rather than artificial reconstruction. Planned functions include a restaurant, ballroom, 60–80 hotel rooms, apartments, recreational and event spaces in the former farm buildings, and a park open to residents and guests. Arche says its goal is to save what remains while adding new elements respectfully.
