Echo Investment has signed a preliminary agreement with the KGAL Group for the sale of three office buildings in the Fuzja complex in Łódź for over €56.4 million, the company said. Buildings that have 22,000 sqm of the total area constitute an important part of the multifunctional Fuzja project, which is being developed on the basis of the post-industrial buildings of a textile factory.
“This is clear proof that investors and tenants appreciate our strategy of creating the so-called destinations, multi-functional parts of the city where people can live, work and play. For many years, this historic area was closed and inaccessible to the inhabitants of Łódź. Now we are working on making it a fully-fledged part of Łódź again, satisfying the needs of its inhabitants and becoming a background for a sustainable, urban lifestyle," Małgorzata Turek, member of the management board of Echo Investment, responsible for the investment department, said.
The main tenant of the office complex will be Fujitsu Poland Global Delivery Center, which has decided to consolidate its office there, occupying 16,300 sqm.
