GLP has agreed to lease its GLP Logistics Centre in Lędziny, Upper Silesia to its first customer Eurotherm Poland Sp. z o.o., only a few weeks since construction began on the site. Eurotherm, part of Schneider Electric, will be the building's first occupier and it will use the warehouse as a site for its industrial automation plant that manufactures measurement and control instruments.

GLP Lędziny park is a 110,000 sqm center that has direct access to Expressway S1. Construction on the center began in mid-February 2021 and the first stage of construction is expected to be completed by mid-2021. Upon completion, the building will have a clear height of 12 meters, an extra deep 24-meter picking zone, and a floor loading capacity (7.5 t/sqm) to support production machinery and lines.

“We chose a building of unique quality that offers sustainability and easy access to main regional transport routes, which is convenient for suppliers as well as our own logistics operations and employees. We also recognize GLP’s experience as an industrial property developer and manager that is committed to maintaining a long-term partnership with its clients,”.Krystian Boryń, Plant Manager at Eurotherm said.

The tenant was represented by Colliers.
