Industrial and sporty – new office for STS in Katowice
Changing an old warehouse into a modern office space, which reflects the style and character of the company's core business – that's the challenge Tétris was given by STS, the leader of the bookmaking sector in Poland. The scope of works covered interior design and modernization in the Katowice-based STS headquarters.
“Remodeling a warehouse into an office is a non-standard undertaking. From the execution side, we need to consider many administrative procedures. An experienced team and proven subcontractors are crucial. STS had high expectations in aesthetics, interior look and cost optimization. Our concept changed the functional layout of the building", says Tomasz Spalik, development director, Tétris.
Designers used the industrial atmosphere of the warehouse in the interiors. They combined it with the sports theme. On the walls, we can admire, among others, a mural with Diego Maradona. With the height of the room, it was possible to build a mezzanine, which is not a common element in offices but adds style to the interior. The effect achieved was much appreciated.
