Interest in home sales increased by 46% y/y in July - Nieruchomosci-online.pl
Interest in listings of houses for sale in July this year was 24% higher than in June, and 46% higher than a year ago, according to data from Nieruchomosci-online.pl. The most sought-after are terraced houses or semi-detached houses with an area of 80-100 square meters and detached houses up to 120 square meters.
The motivation behind this increased interest in home purchases can be attributed to the elevated prices of apartments. Additionally, some people have realized that for the price of an apartment in a good location in a big city, you can buy a house in the suburbs, the report says.
Another reason for the greater interest in houses is that people who have been holding off the purchase decision for a long time, believing in price drops, have returned to the search, said the PR manager at Nieruchomosci-online.pl Rafał Bieńkowski.
