Poland expects its first LNG shipment from Qatar since March 2026 to arrive in roughly two weeks, ORLEN Chief Operating Officer Robert Soszyński confirmed. The cargo, carried by the Seapeak Maritime-operated Al Kharsaah, would also be the first delivery to Europe since QatarEnergy’s disruption. QatarEnergy declared force majeure on some LNG contracts in March following Iranian attacks on gas facilities. Shipping data showed four vessels carrying Qatari LNG reappearing outside the Strait of Hormuz around October 2–3, indicating recovering exports despite continuing security threats.

Two delivered cargoes to China and India. Qatar is the world’s second-largest LNG exporter, with about 66% of shipments going to Asia.
