Maximilian Mendel appointed Managing Director of Zeitgeist Asset Management
The new year will bring further strengthening of Zeitgeist Asset Management. On January 1, 2022, Maximilian Mendel, one of the most experienced practitioners in the private rental sector (PRS), student housing and other fields in the wider living sector, will assume the position of Managing Director of the company in Poland. Zeitgeist manages assets for institutional and private investors in Poland, Czech Republic and Germany.
“We are entering a key moment of development, when the scale of our activities in Poland will outweigh what we have built in the Czech Republic. Including recent investments, our local portfolio of rental apartments and student houses already includes above 800 units," Peter Noack, CEO and co-founder of Zeitgeist Asset Management, said.
Maximilian Mendel's task will be to lead the company on a path of stable, long-term development by expanding the portfolio of real estate offering premises for rent .
“The return on investment in the living sector in Poland remains at a very attractive level for institutional investors, despite the pandemic and current market circumstances. The supply of rental stock is still very low, especially in large cities, therefore institutional lease – offering certainty and high quality – perfectly fills this niche," Maximilian Mendel said.
