More than 13 million Poles already use mobile banking applications. Fintechs are also gaining popularity. The application of the Polish start-up helps to control expenses and makes it easier to make complaints and returns. It is enough to take a photo of the receipt and the technology will recognize and save all the data stored on it. The application will remind you about the expiry date of returning the goods, but also help you, for example, create a shopping list. The latest feature automatically adds the relevant items to your shopping list from the recipe page.
“Mobile applications from year to year are becoming a more and more frequent tool to control not only our expenses but also the entire life, making them easier. Thanks to the applications, we have access to the best opportunities on the market, but also these types of applications allow us to keep accurate expenditure statistics and accurate monitoring of the household budget,” Antonina Grzelak, PR Manager at PanParagon, said.
Initially, computer programs like Quicken and Microsoft Money kept you under control. Some people have used and still use spreadsheets for this purpose. Currently, control over finances is taken over by mobile applications that not only track expenses but also help achieve financial goals. The Poles have also developed an application that allows you to easily manage expenses, but also reminds you of, for example, the return date.
“Initially, PanParagon was a simple application for storing receipts, but it turned out that users willingly enter not only receipts for products that we often advertise, but also those for everyday purchases or one bun from the local grocery store. We realized that PanParagon has much more potential, we started to enclose it with other functionalities. Currently, the application is a shopping harvester that guides the consumer through the entire shopping process,” Antonina Grzelak pointed out.
