British fintech Monese is expanding its partnership with PayPal in Poland, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Portugal. Monese offers a multi-currency application that allows you to quickly launch an individual bank account. From today, customers in six new countries can use Monese in conjunction with a PayPal account, receiving access to financial tools, making payments and even better personal finance management as part of one mobile application. Entering new markets is the result of successful cooperation of both companies from the end of 2019 in Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy and Spain, in which countries almost 30 percent of active Monese customers have linked their accounts to PayPal.
“Monese is a bank account of first choice for an international, extremely dynamically growing group of recipients who are staying abroad due to work, study, family responsibilities or even retirement. At the same time, they are active PayPal users. This translated into a good reception of cooperation between our companies in existing markets,” Norris Koppel, founder and CEO of Monese, said.
