PKO Bank Polski, the largest bank in Poland, has concluded a long-term lease agreement for the entire area in the Skysawa skyscraper in Warsaw. The skyscraper will become the new seat of PKO BP.

A lease agreement for approx. 34,500 sqm of space – concluded by the developer of the building, Polski Holding Nieruchomości, with PKO Bank Polski – is the largest transaction of this type on the commercial real estate market in Warsaw in the last several months.

The contract covers the lease of the entire tower part of the office complex, 155 meters high and 40 stories above ground, and the lower, 9-story office part. The bank also secured the right of first refusal of the office building.

To the new headquarters at ul. Świętokrzyska 36 in Warsaw, near the ONZ roundabout, which serves as the Warsaw "city", employees of the bank's headquarters will move from several Warsaw locations, as well as from PKO Leasing, PKO TFI, PKO Ubezpieczenia, PKO PTE, and PKO Bank Hipoteczny. PKO Bank Polski will be the only tenant of the building with an area of. The handover of the subject of the lease is planned for the fourth quarter of 2022.

According to PKO BP, the new office building will have a hybrid work model that is already in use at the bank.
