Poland’s secondary housing market is showing modest signs of recovery, but rapid sales remain uncommon. In 2026, 11.8% of real estate agents reported selling studio apartments in under 30 days, up from 8.5% in 2025 but far below 25% in 2023, when the government’s Safe Credit 2% mortgage program fueled demand. Larger apartments sell much more slowly, with only 2.7% of agents reporting average sales times below one month.

Fast transactions are even rarer for houses and building plots, at 0.9% and 2.2%, respectively. Nieruchomosci-online.pl says the market has shifted from the buying frenzy of 2023 toward greater stability, giving buyers more time to make decisions.
