Press Glass supports construction of 2nd Polish Ronald McDonald Foundation House

Leading European manufacturer of insulated glass Press Glass, together with one of its global glass suppliers, joins the group of construction partners of the second Polish "Home away from home during a child's illness" in Warsaw.
"We are aware that oncology in Poland, especially today, needs comprehensive support. When small patients and their loved ones take on the biggest challenge in their lives, providing comfortable spaces for the family home outside the home means that families can be close together and focus on the most important goal, which is to regain the child's health,” Gerard Plaze from the PR department at Press Glass said.
"Fighting the disease is a huge challenge not only for small patients, but also for their families. That is why it is so important for them to be close together at this difficult time. We are glad that we can help in this by supporting the construction of the foundation ‘Home away from home’ in Warsaw,” Jakub Czapigo, Key Account Manager at Guardian Glass, added.
The Ronald McDonald House built in Warsaw is the second investment of this type of the Ronald McDonald Foundation in Poland. The first free family hotel of this type has been operating for over four years at the university pediatric hospital in Kraków's Prokocim. In addition to 25 comfortable apartments, a shared kitchen and dining room, living room, recreation area and laundry room, the Warsaw Home away from home will also offer as the first zone in the world with preschool functions. It arises on the initiative and thanks to the financial commitment of the Medical University of Warsaw.
