A combined more than 2.1 million sqm of warehouse space in 72 projects was under construction across Poland at the end of the first quarter of this year, which is the biggest Q1 volume to have ever been recorded in the country, according to the latest report by Cushman & Wakefield. The most development activity was seen in Silesia (568,000 sqm in 13 projects) and central Poland (454,000 sqm in ten projects). In Q1 2019, 22 warehouse schemes were completed in the Polish market, which brought the total existing stock to 16.3 million sqm.
