The first Holiday Inn Resort in Poland
IHG Hotels & Resorts Group has announced the signing of a franchise agreement for Holiday Inn Resort Szklarska Poręba with Akme Wisniewski Szklarska Poręba. The hotel, located in the Valley of Happiness, is scheduled to open in 2022.
Holiday Inn Resort Szklarska Poręba will have 87 rooms. It will be built within the 1.5 ha Horizon Hotel & Resort complex, which consists of four buildings, including a hotel, apartments and recreation area. Guests of the complex will be able to enjoy the wellness area, indoor and outdoor pools and spa.
More than 1,230 hotels operate under the Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts brand. Almost 260 more will be opened in the coming years. In Poland IHG has 15 hotels in operation under various brands and 21 in the pipeline.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has 16 hotel brands in its portfolio. The group manages almost 6 thousand hotels in over 100 countries. In the next five years IHG plans to open another 1.8 thousand objects.
