Trans Polonia wants to take over larger logistics company in Western Europe
Poland’s Trans Polonia plans to acquire a Dutch logistics company by mid-2027. The target, valued at about PLN 1.7 bln, generates roughly EUR 500 mln in annual revenue, around four times Trans Polonia’s current level. It operates in the Benelux countries, the UK and Germany, employs 2,600 people and specializes in transporting fuels and liquid chemicals, as well as technical gases. The acquisition could increase the group’s business scale to about PLN 2.4 bln and expand its customer base and operating capacity.
Trans Polonia is arranging senior and subordinated debt financing, and its CEO says the chances of securing it are very high. The seller is a private equity fund following an unsuccessful family succession.
