Warsaw’s Norblin Factory is among six investments from around the world that won the Global Awards for Excellence 2022 organized by the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Apart from the Norblin Factory, the winners are Anken Alley, Enabling Village, Essex Crossing, MÉCA, and St. Pete Pier. There are two winning projects from North America, two from Europe, and two from Asia and the Pacific.
“ULI selected finalists in three regions - investments that show exemplary commitment to implementing best practices and building cities that are open to all, unique, and in tune with their surroundings”, said Sophie Henley-Price, general director of STUDIOS Architecture in Paris.
The Awards for Excellence recognize the full development process of a project, not just its architecture or design—although these elements play an important role. The Awards recognize a wide variety of product types, including office, residential, retail, industrial, hotel, mixed-use, planned community, and open space.
