Warsaw’s resilient offices
In the Global Cities Resilience Index 2026 published by WiredScore, Warsaw ranked seventh worldwide and second in Europe for the technological resilience of commercial buildings, outperforming cities such as London, New York, Berlin and Paris.
The ranking analyzed more than 1,600 buildings across 40 markets. Chicago placed first overall, followed by Singapore and Dubai, while Madrid was the top European city in fourth place.
Researchers evaluated physical, digital and cyber resilience. Warsaw scored 88% for physical resilience—measuring a building’s ability to maintain operations during environmental disruptions, technical failures or power outages. In digital resilience, which assesses high-speed connectivity and system integration, the city reached 68%.
Its cyber resilience score of 84% placed it above the global average for network security and access control, though the report highlighted weaknesses in data management. Certified buildings also tend to lease faster and maintain lower vacancy levels than typical.
