WIK Capital has started works on its newest investment, Kamienica Architekta, at 128 Narutowicza Street in the center of Łódź. It is a tenement house from the 1920s built in the original modernist style. The building owes its name to Stefan Derkowski, an architect from Łódź who lived here before the war. In consultation with the local conservation officer, the tenement house is undergoing restoration as part of the revitalization of the old urban tissue.

The building is located among universities. It also provides access to a well-developed urban infrastructure and proximity to green areas, Matejko Park, and 3 Maja Park. The location on Narutowicza Street is one of the many advantages offered by the developer.

There are 24 apartments for sale, ranging in size from 20-45 sqm (including micro-apartments and two-room apartments) and one service unit. Sales prices start from PLN 180,000 net. The project assumes superstructure and adaptation of the existing historical building. Ultimately, the building will have four overground stories and an underground one. The apartments’ advantage is their height (2.70-2.80m).

“We are well aware of the factors that translate into the success of selling investments on the real estate market. We have gained knowledge of investment activities for five years of WIK Capital's presence in the Polish market. Therefore, we carefully select properties for this purpose on the housing market. Kamienica Architekta is a jewel of Polish modernism: a high-quality product that combines exceptional architecture with an excellent location. Due to its pre-war, original character, it is unique in the residential real estate market,” says Aleksander Kupcewicz, partner at WIK Capital.

“The offer of Kamienica Architekta will certainly find its supporters soon. We do not expect any problems with selling the apartments, especially because our offer includes the most popular currently small-size units,” adds Kupcewicz.

WIK Capital intends to add more residential projects to its portfolio's multi-family and single-family segments. It is also planning another hotel property. Both markets are being analyzed, and each of them aims to acquire investments that will fit into a well-thought-out real estate portfolio.
