YIT begins construction of Nordic Bemowo estate

The Finnish developer YIT has chosen the general contractor for the first stage of the Nordic Bemowo estate - a multi-stage investment to be implemented in the vicinity of the newly built metro station at ul. Lazurowa in Warsaw. Construction of the first stage will start in March this year. Ultimately, nearly 600 apartments will be built within the estate.
“As a result of the tender for the general contractor, we achieved the best contractual conditions with F.B.I. Tasbud. The subject of the order is 97 apartments with an area from 26-128 sqm, as well as an underground garage with 129 parking spaces. This is our first joint venture and we hope that it will result in good cooperation,” Tomasz Konarski, president of YIT in Poland, said.
Nordic Bemowo will be built on a plot of 6 ha. Its location is its definite advantage. The area is located between two stations of the newly created metro line, which will provide residents with convenient communication with the city center.
Nordic Bemowo will be distinguished by the high quality of the materials used, elegant architecture inspired by Finnish design, and modern, environmentally friendly solutions, such as chargers for electric cars. Space was designed in accordance with YIT's original concept "More Life in Yards", which is guided by the idea of creating dedicated special zones to encourage residents to integrate and spend time outdoors. The new Finnish investment also includes gardens, spacious terraces, and a bustling city square open to everyone, which will become the cultural and social heart of this part of Bemowo.
