The European Union plans to loan Ukraine €35 billion, using frozen Russian assets as collateral. This move is part of the ongoing effort to support Ukraine amid the ongoing war while utilizing seized Russian funds. The funds will primarily be used to reconstruct Ukraine's war-torn infrastructure and stabilize its economy.

EU leaders emphasized that this financial aid package reflects their continued commitment to helping Ukraine in its recovery process, while also holding Russia accountable for its invasion.
