What prevents offering small businesses or self-employed people the prices and terms and conditions so far available for professional transport until now only? Nothing. DKV Euro Service, the European fuel card giant, has come to this conclusion.
For several weeks, this universal fuel card can be "bought" by every entrepreneur in a few minutes at the webshop. The card is a descriptive term for a range of services that includes refueling, tolls, online settlements, route planning, and refueling services, vehicle repairs, car washes, as well as financial services such as VAT returns or factoring.
5,000 is better than 500 What is the difference, apart from the price, compared to the cards offered by fuel companies? Liberty. And specifically, the possibility of refueling at any brand station in Poland or abroad. Plus, there are no monthly spending limits, i.e. no one will hold us responsible if we've closed the card for half a year in a desk, because the partner has gone on a contract. And billing convenience, with invoices, sent online once every two weeks.
"Small businesses struggle with the problem of mandatory fuel volumes they have to buy every month to benefit from fuel corporations' cards. At DKV, we do not bind customers with any mandatory volumes, and at the same time we give them a choice - we let them refuel wherever they want", explains Mariusz Derdziak, DKV Euro Service Sales Manager.
Today, the network of operator stations providing professional transport, such as DKV, amounts to ca. locations 5000 points in Poland and nearly 60 thousand abroad. It includes stations of the giants, such as PKN Orlen, PB, Shell, Lotos, Amic and Circle K, as well as several hundred local outlets of Polish brands, including Moya, Pieprzyk, Citronex, Uniwar, and Areca. They all offer the same quality, regularly controlled fuel.
Cheaper because of the scale Savings of fuel, so far available only to the big ones, have been made possible here thanks to the following two solutions. "We've negotiated prices lower by as much as PLN 0.40 per liter for all our customers at local Polish brands' stations. We also offer an online application called "DKV", which points out the cheapest refueling locations within a radius or on a route" - adds Mariusz Derdziak. With usually several dozen gas stations within reach, PLN 0.20 - 0.30 differences are something natural, and at the same time much lighter for the wallet.
Today, a good fuel card is one of the arguments when hiring drivers or salesmen. It makes their work easier without forcing you to collect receipts or carry cash. "The independent operator's card has solved the problem of settling many foreign bills. Now all costs of fuel, tolls, and occasionally even service are billed on a single monthly invoice", - says Dariusz Macheta, Fleet Director of TelForceOne, a leading manufacturer of mobile devices in Poland. "The additional workshop services are especially appreciated by ladies, more and more of whom join the ranks of sales representatives. With the DKV card you can also recharge viaAuto devices in the viaToll motorway operator application”, adds Dariusz Macheta.
In a broader perspective... An advantage is the DKV fuel card's international acceptance of the, just drive up to a station and pay. The same services, e.g. refueling location optimization and aggregate invoicing, are available in 42 European countries. For example, in Germany, this DKV service covers over 90% of the gas station network. An advantage in foreign settlements is also the possibility of obtaining a VAT refund on fuel purchases. This service is available as the so-called net invoicing, whereby the customer pays the price minus the VAT tax already on the spot.
