GUS: Inflation to be 2.8 percent y/y in February
Consumer inflation reached 2.8 percent on an annual basis in February 2024, as reported by the Central Statistical Office (GUS). Compared to the previous month, the prices of goods and services rose by 0.3 percent.
GUS also updated the data for January – the annual inflation was 3.7 percent (compared to 3.9 percent y/y before the change of the inflation basket). The monthly index was +0.4 percent (compared to +0.4 percent m/m before the change of the inflation basket).
