“This year’s holidays will be possible not only in Poland; I think that in mid-June will be the moment when we plan trips and know where we can go,” deputy minister of health Waldemar Kraska, said.
Asked whether the health department will recommend abolishing the compulsory quarantine after returning to the country from vacation, Kraska replied that if there are no justified reasons, there will be no quarantine. He added that these decisions are made depending on the epidemic situation.
The deputy minister also noted that the availability of countries changes day by day, and the situation in different countries is perceived differently. He also expressed hope that in the coming weeks the world will open and doubts related to tourist restrictions will be dispelled.
The latest data shows that the total number of coronavirus infected Poles is 24,395, of whom 1,092 have died and 11,726 have recovered.
