According to a ManpowerGroup report, 55% of IT companies in Poland struggle to recruit employees with the required skills, down from 61% last year. The most in-demand competencies include technical skills (34%), IT and data analysis (27%), and logistics and operations (25%).
Globally, the biggest skill gaps are in IT and data analysis (54%), followed by engineering (29%), sales and marketing (20%), and logistics (18%). Experts note that lower employee turnover and economic uncertainty have led IT professionals to prioritize job stability. The rise of AI and reskilling programs is also reshaping the job market. Future IT skills will focus on AI implementation, data analysis, cybersecurity, and business expertise.
