Bartosz Bielenia gets the Shooting Star 2020
Bartosz Bielenia, who plays the main role in the Oscar-nominated film ‘Corpus Christi,’ was on the list of 10 actors who received the title of European rising star Shooting Star 2020. The official presentation of artists awarded with this title will take place on February 21-24 during the 70th International Berlin Film Festival.
Shooting Star is a special program created by the European Film Promotion (EFP) organization. It aims to promote young and talented European actors. Shooting Stars have been awarded every year for 20 years. So far, six Poles got this title – Agnieszka Grochowska (2007), Agata Buzek (2010), Jakub Gierszał (2012), Mateusz Kościukiewicz (2014), Zofia Wichłacz (2017) and Dawid Ogrodnik (2019).
