Close to 70% of employees in largest companies participate in Employee Capital Plans

Currently, 3.35 million individuals from 313,000 entities participate in Employee Capital Plans, marking an increase of nearly 20,000 new participants month-to-month. The current program participation rate stands at 44.60 percent, with companies employing over 250 people nearing 70 percent (69.36 percent). The private sector continues to lead, with a participation rate of 50.85 percent. Participation in the public sector is half as low.
The net asset value (NAV) of target-date funds has increased by PLN 46 million and currently amounts to PLN 18.04 billion. This signifies a growth of over PLN 5 billion compared to data from the end of January of the current year.
The total employer contributions amount to over PLN 7 billion, while participant contributions total PN 9 billion. These funds are managed by 17 financial institutions. An Employee Capital Plans participant earning PLN 5,300, saving in the program since December 2019, has achieved a profit ranging from 116-137 percent depending on the Financial Investment Risk Group (FZD).
