Coronavirus breaks records in Poland again

On Wednesday, another record of infections took place in Poland – there were as much as 10,040 new cases, and 130 people died. In total, 202,579 cases have been diagnosed in Poland since the beginning of the pandemic, and 3,851 patients have died.

The number of people in hospitals is now 9,439 and those requiring respirators – 757. There are over 335,000  people in quarantine now, which is also a record number.

The Ministry of Health updates the information about available respirators every day – there are 1,400 of them according to the latest data. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 98,884 people have recovered, and since yesterday this number has increased by 2,928.

During the last day, 59,000 of the samples have been tested (4.1 million since the beginning of the pandemic).
