Demand for plastic packaging grows in Poland
About one million tons of plastic packaging is delivered to the Polish market every year, but by 2022 this amount can grow to 1.3 million tons Polish Chamber of Commerce estimated. The growth rate of plastic consumption in Poland is higher than the European average, it is added.
The demand for plastics keeps growing. In Europe it amounted to 51.7 million tons in 2017 and was by about one million tons higher than in 2016.
