The eastern region of Poland is attracting more and more interest from developers and tenants. Rzeszów and Lublin attract both companies from the logistics and production industries. The increase in interest is undoubtedly influenced by the development of e-commerce, says Marcin Krupanek, Consultant, JLL.

"We owe it, among other things, to the general development of e-commerce. According to PwC, only in 2020 did Poles make online purchases for over €15 billion, which means an increase of 31.4 percent compared to 2019. In addition, according to PwC forecasts, the value of the Polish e-commerce market, which amounted to approximately PLN 100 billion in 2020, will increase to PLN 162 billion already in 2026. It should not be surprising, therefore, that companies are looking for places for their businesses in the growing market. Eastern Poland has a lot to offer. which is why the region is being watched more and more closely by various industries who see it as a benefit for their business," Krupanek said.

In his opinion, the workforce is also one of the reasons why many companies in this region are looking for a location for their business. The Aviation Valley is an aspect that may attract investors and is worth paying attention to in the context of the eastern market. It is located in south-eastern Poland, known for its developed aviation industry and pilot training centers.
